Corrections and errata
I run this site as an evidentiary archive, and an archive is only as valuable as its reliability. I record here, with the date, every inaccuracy I detect in my own findings — including when it works to my disadvantage. I mark the places affected by a correction in the text with an asterisk.

20 August 2026 — description of recording 6: who called whom
The description above the player read: „Telefoniczne nagranie — NN dzwoni do dr. Kilarskiego z Jareniówki". It was the other way around, and I am correcting it. Person NN called me — from their mobile phone in Kraków to my mobile phone — while I was in Jareniówka. This is the source of the interference audible in the recording. Corrected in all language versions. The correction of 1 August 2026 concerned the same mistake, but at that time it was not transferred to the description above the player — it is there only now.

20 August 2026 — the audio file of recording 6 is not being published
The audio file of recording 6 is not in the website archive. I am unable today to play it back or confirm whether it is a duplicate of another published conversation, therefore I am not publishing it and do not promise a date. If I establish exactly what it contained, I will publish it and add that information here. I am not changing the numbering: the recording remains on the website as recording 6, together with the topical description I prepared earlier.

20 August 2026 — numbering of recordings on the website and numbering in the document „analiza_nagran_audio_kompletna"
The website numbers the recordings from 1 to 7. The document analiza_nagran_audio_kompletna numbers the audio files from 1 to 10. I am changing neither numbering system — both are in circulation and both are cited in correspondence. The conversion table is below:
Recording on the website File / recording in the analysis Date Recording 1 recording 1 29 May 2020 Recording 2 recording 2 2 June 2020 Recording 3 recording 3 4 June 2020 Recording 4 recording 5 10 October 2020 Recording 5 (parts A and B) recordings 7 and 8 20 March 2021 Recording 6 recording 9 16 December 2023 (audio file unavailable) Recording 7 recording 10 30 September 2021 Recordings 4 (5 June 2020) and 6 (28 August 2020) from the document's numbering do not have their own subpages on the website — the audio files are in the archive, but they have not yet been described. I record this as a gap, not as a correction to the content.

1 August 2026 — Dr. Zbigniew Błocki's Ideas Plus grant
I wrote that the Ideas Plus grant declared by Dr. Błocki from 2014 „został zamknięty i rozliczony w 2017 r.", and consequently that the only active source of funding for joint publications with Prof. Zwonek could have been funds from the NCN grant. I was mistaken and withdraw that statement. I have no confirmation of the grant's completion date, and a twin project from the same edition of the programme (no. 0002/ID1/2014/63) was carried out in 2014–2018, which argues against my assumption of a thirty-six-month period. I will request the grant decision and agreement from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
This issue is secondary to the substance of the matter: the conflict of interest does not concern whose funds financed the publication, but the fact that the director of the funding agency collaborated scientifically with the beneficiary of a grant awarded, administered and settled by the institution he headed, and that this circumstance was not disclosed to the journals. This part remains valid and is documented.

1 August 2026 — description of recording 6
The description of the recording read „telefon NN z Jareniówki". In reality, NN called me from Kraków while I was in Jareniówka. Corrected in all language versions.

1 August 2026 — description of one of the conversation recordings
The description stated that I interrupted Z.B. while he was speaking. That did not happen — I removed that wording.

27 August 2026 — eligibility of expenditure in a project financed from the Norwegian Funds
In the notification of 30 July 2026 addressed to Norwegian control institutions, I pointed out that item 140 on the public list of appeal decisions of the National Science Centre — a grant of 870 250,00 zł implemented at AGH University of Science and Technology using funds from the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014–2021 — was disclosed after the programme's eligibility period had ended, and I raised the question of whether the expenditure fell within that period.
The Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy, acting as the National Contact Point, informed me in a letter of 26 August 2026 (reference DPT-VI.055.2.2026.BP) that the project was implemented from 2 November 2021 to 30 April 2024, that 786 402,94 zł was spent, that the expenditure was incurred during the eligibility period, and that the agreement was deemed completed by an NCN decision of 4 February 2025. I therefore withdraw the doubt concerning the eligibility of the expenditure — I was mistaken on this point. Full text: response from the National Contact Point of 26 August 2026 (PDF, 2 pages).
The remaining findings have been officially confirmed. The funding was awarded following the successful consideration of an appeal by a decision of the Appeals Committee of the NCN Council of 23 August 2021, and the relevant entry appeared on the public list no earlier than March 2025, that is, after more than three and a half years and already after completion of the project. The Ministry also stated that the Donor States had not been provided with separate information that the project had received funding as a result of an appeal.
